Eggnog


Ingredients


2 cups milk

1/2 cup dark brown sugar

1 tbsp molasses or honey

1 shot of baileys

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp cinnamon powder

1 tsp cloves powder

1 tsp ground nutmeg

1 tsp ginger powder

4 egg yolks (large eggs) or 5 egg yolks (small eggs)

1/2 cup double cream

Procedure

  • Pour the milk into the pot and place it over medium heat until hot and steamy but not simmering. Then turn the heat off.

  • Separate the egg yolks and whisk them well.

  • Add the sugar in small parts while mixing the yolks until they are lighter in color. Adding the sugar slowly will ensure that it dissolves well into the mixture.

  • Start whisking the eggs and add a ladle full of hot milk and whisk it well until it is well combined. Repeat this 2-3 times, and add the eggs to the pot of milk.

  • Cook it in low heat and keep stirring continually for about 10 minutes.

Add all spices

Add vanilla

Add baileys

And double cream.

Wisk them all together.

Let it cool completely

Pour it in a jar and enjoy

1 luge kafe kanelle pluhur

1 luge kafe karafil pluhur

1 luge kafe arre moskat pluhur

1 luge kafe xhinxher pluhur

4 te verdha vezesh te medha ose 5 veze te vogla

1/2 kupe krem qumeshti


Menyra e pergatitjes

  • Hidhe qumeshtin ne nje ene dhe enen vendose mbi zjarr ( mos e ler te zieje)

  • Ne nje tas vendos te verdhat e vezeve dhe fillo ti rrahesh

  • Hidh sheqerin pak e nga pak nderkohe dhe perzieji mire derisa te tretet sheqeri

  • Largo qumeshtin nga zjarri

  • Merr fillimisht nje garuzhde qumesht te nxehte dhe hidhe ne vezet e rrahura pak e nga pak

  • Vazhdo ne te njejten menyre edhe dy here te tjera.

  • Hidhe masen kremoze ne enen e qumeshtit te nxehur dhe vendose mbi zjarr te ngadalte. Perzieje mire dhe pa nderprerje per 10’

  • Hiqe nga zjarri

  • Hidh ne te erezat, vanilja dhe baileys. Perzieji se bashku.

  • Shko krem qumeshti. Vazhdo ti trazosh.
